0.01% Cobalt Max. 304L (VIMVAR) stainless steel round bars

Metal & Cable Corp., Inc. stocks only American made stainless steel bars.  Our 304L vacuum induction melted and vacuum induction re-melted (VIMVAR) stainless steel bars are supplied to us by Carpenter Technology Corp.                                          

 Our VIMVAR 304L heats are specially ordered and processed to have an ultra-low residual analysis of cobalt of 0.01%  This ultra-low residual analysis of cobalt makes these bars an excellent choice for nuclear reactor applications.  Although Metal & Cable Corp., Inc. can not certify the bars to ASME Section III or Navy Nuclear specifications, we GUARANTEE that they will pass any required tests, or we will take them back with no restocking charge - and pay the freight both ways!

Our sizes range from .25" diameter to 2.75" diameter.  Please see the attached mill certificate from Carpenter Technology Corp. as an example.
